The most credible research I have found on the Blair surname is found here (The Blair Society for Geneolgy Research. If you visit this site and read their excellent report, you will see a reference to the Blair House (fka Blair Castle) near Dalry, Scotland - a beautiful place Cathy & I have visited as highlighted in the above video presented at Thanksgiving 2020.
